Department of Law, Punjab University admission process for the courses on offer is entrance-based with the university accepting PU LLB and PUCET (PG) scores for the same. duration of UG courses is three years while duration of PG courses varies from one to two years. PhD programmes have a duration of six years.

 The minimum eligibility for BA LLB (Hons) at Department of Law, MDU is passing Class 12 with a minimum of 45% aggregate (42.7% for SC/ ST of Haryana state only). The sleection criteria for the same is entrance based.

Department of Law MDU admission 2026 will open soon for all courses. The department offers programmes in the domain of Law at UG, PG and PhD levels. A total of six programmes are on offer. The Department of Law at MDU offers a BA-LLB course at the undergraduate level, a three-year LLB and LLB (Hons) course at the undergraduate level, and an LLM course at the postgraduate level. An integrated course of LLB (Hons) - integrated of five year duration is also offered.
