Once the AILET registration is over, candidates cannot change their exam centre. The exam centre choices can be modified online at nationallawuniversitydelhi.in during the AILET registration period. Candidates need to log in to their candidate account to change their exam centre preferences. 

For other queries related to AILET exam, candidates can contact the AILET exam authority over call on 011-40787555 10:00 am to 05:00 pm on all working day.

If there are mistakes in details mentioned in your AILET admit card, you need to contact the AILET exam authotrity. The contact number of the exam authority is 011-40787555. Candidates can call on this contact number from 10:00 am to 05:00 pm on all working day. They need to make sure that they make corrections in the details as soon as possible before the exam date.

The AILET first merit lists for BA LLB (Hons.), BCom LLB (Hons.), LLM and PhD in Law courses will be out at nationallawuniversitydelhi.in. To check the merit list, follow the steps below: 

  • Go to the official AILET Portal - nationallawuniversitydelhi.in. 
  • Navigate the "Notification" section on the portal's homepage. 
  • Look for the "First BA LLB (Hons.)/BCom LLB (Hons.)/LLM/Phd in Law Merit List" link. 
  • Click on the link. 
  • The merit list will open in a new tab.

AILET 2026 second merit list for BA LLB (Hons.), BCom LLB (Hons.) and LLM  will be released at nationallawuniversitydelhi.in. If a candidate does not get selected in the second round of the AILET counselling, he or she needs to wait for the release of the round 3 merit list.

AILET used to be a very tough entrance exam before 2023 due to its short duration of 90 minutes. However, NLU Delhi increased the duration of the exam from 90 minutes to 120 minutes after the AILET 2024 exam. The extended duration made it slightly easier for candidates to solve 150 questions in 120 minutes for the AILET UG exam. As a result, the AILET difficulty level has decreased over time with the increase in exam duration.

In the last year's AILET question paper for UG course, GK questions were prominently related to static GK. The number of current affairs-related questions was lower. Questions were mainly related to law field and Economics. These questions were related to topics, such as Supreme Court of India, Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and Gross Domestic Product (GDP). 
A large number of questions in the section were based on topics related to international relations, such as international alliances, agreements and G20 Summit.
