CLAT Eligibility: Academic Qualification A candidate must have secured minimum marks required in 12th standard, as per the category to which s/he belongs: For Unreserved /OBC /Specially Able Persons (SAP) and other categories -A minimum of 45% marks required. For SC/ST Category -A minimum of 40% marks required.

No, its not needed for appearing in CLAT exam. However, candidates must carry the admit card of CLAT along with a valid identity proof (Aadhar Card/ Voter Id card/ Driving License/ Passport, etc. ) to their respective examination centers.
