In CLAT counselling, both your All India Rank (AIR) and your category rank like SC Rank are considered. However, the SC Rank plays a crucial role during seat allocation under reserved category seats. If you're applying through the SC quota, your SC Rank will be used to determine your eligibility and order of preference in that pool. The All India Rank is mostly used for general category seats. So essentially, while both ranks are important, your SC Rank is more relevant if you're applying under the reserved category.
