You can study law or engineering courses, if you have passed class 12th. For engineering courses, you should have passed class 12th with Physics, Maths and Chemistry as subjects. For law you must pursue graduation like B.A. Or B.Com or equivalent first and then you can pursue LLB. For graduation also, you should have pass class 12th exams.

It depends upon you. The most traditional degree is BA LLB. Therefore, with a BA LLB. You can get through everywhere. The subjects that you study are humanities related ones like history, political Science, sociology etc. Then, you have BBA LLB. It may be preferred by students with a commerce background. Subjects taught are human resources management, accounting, financial management, business environment, economics etc. Also, you have B.Com. LL.B. Dealing with commerce subjects. No, you cannot practice with a Diploma. You need to have a LLB Degree in order to practice. Most places, including private and government require you to have a LLB Degree. However, certain paralegal work or research based work may be hiring people Diploma holders. But, full time lawyers need to have a degree of LLB.

ICFAI Law School, Hyderabad was recently in news for an issue I.e. , busting of drug racket which shook the whole state of Telangana, a few months ago. Also, it has been blacklisted under Telangana's Excise and Prohibition Department.
From my perspective, giving CLAT and joining NALSAR University is the best deal within Hyderabad, else, TSLAWCET is another best option where one could possibly land in the Faculty of Law, Osmania University. In order to pursue LL.B. The candidate should have completed his/her graduation from a recognised Indian University/Foreign University/Equivalent institution from any stream. Also, candidates in the final year of their graduation/post graduation are eligible to apply for the LL.B. Entrance exam.
