Both Masters in social work and law are very different courses from each other. It is impossible to tell which one is better than the other one, as every field has its advantages and disadvantages. So, you just need to follow what interests you the most.

Preparations for CLAT can get very tough if you don't have the required guidance that a good book can provide. The biggest problem with CLAT exam is that it doesn't have a well-defined syllabus and exam pattern; so it becomes a requisite that you refer to quality books for CLAT. Online discussion forums for CLAT are full of books suggestions but Team PrepLadder is here with a verified list of books for CLAT 2017 recommended by CLAT Toppers, NLU alumni, experienced faculty, and mentors. A few miscellaneous books on CLAT preparation
-Universals LLB Entrance Guide.
-The Pearson guide to the CLAT.
-Lexis Nexis CLAT study kit and CLAT Guide.

Take as many exams as you can. NLU, Delhi conducts a separate exam too. Colleges have their respective law entrance exams. By taking as many entrances as you can, you create options for yourself.

PU conducts law entrance exam for LLB. It will be conducted on 17th June 2018 and application will be available by the first week of May 2018, and exam will be conducted offline only.
