Hi,
I have not come across any information regarding the placement cell at Jamia Milia Islamia's law department.
Though the law students from this legal institution have a lot of career opportunities as this institution is a very well known. Also, students can apply on their own in any of the law firms, corporate offices or LPO's wherever they wish or desire to go. The faculty is well experienced and knowledgeable and is quite supportive. The faculty if sought help of can help students apply for their desired career opportunity.

Hi,
MIPS, Dwarka legal institution has not been a very active legal institution in imparting quality education and so the placement cell here is also not defunct.
There are no details regarding the recruitment from the college to the students. Also, the faculty is said to be very poor in supporting and cooperating the students.
Though the students getting out of this legal institution may apply on his own for any of his desired career option and can seek the help of the faculty out there in the college.

The salary of the lawyer depends on the reputation of the firm. It will be difficult to give any salary figure as it would vary from lawyer to lawyer.
Some are barely making Rs.50-80k per month, whereas other may roll in Rs.4-5 lacs easily, or even more per month.

Hi there,
Both these colleges are one of the oldest law institutions in India. Many top eminent jurists are alumni of both these institutions.
But I would suggest you to option for BHU. BHU is one of the oldest law universities in northern India. It has a great faculty and is known for its education as not only for placements to students but the education given here is very helpful for a lawyer for judiciary exams and civil services. The faculty concentrates on a philosophy of law to be taught to students rather than just teaching what law is.
GLC though being one of the oldest law colleges in India, it has not been liked much by the stud

Yes, you are eligible to do an LLB course even if you have completed your graduation through distance learning program. The only requirement is that the degree so obtained by you should be from a well recognized college/ university.
Also, you need to check with the college/university in which you wish to seek admission in. The Kerala High Court in a recent judgement has said that "Degree obtained through Distance Education cannot be considered as an eligible qualification for LLB Course"
But there are many colleges/universities that do not have this criteria.
I would suggest you to take up a regular LLB course.
I hope, this inform
