If you do not have law background, then you are not qualified for LLB and you cannot practice law in Indian courts.

Hi,
You can pursue law, if you enjoy researching, can memorize all the laws, have good analytical and communication skills with a confident personality. BA in political or history is possible too.

Both the courses are good. After completing MBA, you can go for executive positions in corporate organizations. Law offer great opportunities like legal officer, company secretary positions, etc.

If you want to practice in Indian courts after law degree you are advised to do regular LLB as Bar Council of India does not recognise LLB through distance learning.

After LLB you can practice in lower courts. However, it is advisable to work under an experienced advocate to learn basics of court procedures and practices.
