Uttranchal University is basically very much known for law. It is also known by the name Law College Dehradun. The BA LL.B, BBA LL.B and LLB offered by the university are good. Teacher student ratio is also good and the faculties are also dedicated to providing quality education to the students. As for placements are concerned, it has been decent as few companies have visited till now. However, the percentage of companies have also increased from this year.

you must have completed your Master's degree course.
To apply for Ph.D. you can either directly apply to the professors of different universities sending them your resume, statement of purpose and your research papers. Or you can appear for UGC-NET examination and then sending your NET scores to the professors under whom you want to undergo your Ph.D course.

You can try getting in:
Peoples Union for Civil Liberties (PUCL)
National Human Rights Commission(NHRC)
Indian Center for Human Rights and Law, (ICHRL)
there are many sub branches in LAW. you can even choose one branch and find internship places for it.
Good luck.
