Well, again distance learning program would get you a qualification for namesake, as that degree or Diploma doesn't have any practical implications. The Bar Council of India does not recognize it and so do the UGC doesn't not consider it at par with regular or even private courses.
The distance learning is available through many institutions in India, but that won't serve you results in real.
Also, you would not be treated as a law graduate for purpose of any civil services exams or government exams, unless you have another degree which is regular and recognized by UGC.
So, you do not have options in real after pursuing a distance learning programme in law and most importantly you can't even practice, as that degree is just a qualification on paper
So, for better future and career prospective I would advise you to take up a regular law course at any institute recognized by UGC.

After completing Ph.D in the field of Law, you are directly entitled to approach in any private or government Law College for the post of Assistant Professor. For such, you need not to clear National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) approved by the University Grant Commission (UGC). This is a settled principle that the candidates having Ph.D in law are exempted from the purview of NET.
The Central as well as the State Government hires candidates who are having Ph.D in law for the purpose of research in various legal fields. Even the Parliament of India requires candidates who are having Ph.D in Law for the interpretation of various statutes and to understand the intent of the legislature and to draft the bill of the any act which will be published as a law.

After completing your Masters in Law that is, LLM, you have no additional job benefits compared to a LLB degree holder except academics. Both, LLB and LLM students can apply for any Government job (PSU) like BANK, RAIL etc. But, now a days, most of the Public Sector Units as well as Private companies, prefer LLM candidates. So, if you are a LLM degree holder, then you will be preferred over LLB degree holders. Many companies hire legal officers having LLM degree.
The sole benefit of LLM is academics. LLM will open the gateway for academics. If you have cleared LLM, then you can easily apply in any private law colleges for the post of Assistant professor. But, if you want to teach in any Government college, then you need to clear National Eligibility Test (NET) for such. The University Grant Commission allows for the post of Assistant Professor to those LLM degree holders who have cleared NET.
After completing LLM, you will always have a preferential position than LLB degree holders.

LLM a post graduate course after LLB in itself is a specialization in law. But also there are certain specializations offered while a student takes up LLM. It could be a LLM in constitutional law or media law or criminal law but yes you are taught other subjects as well.
However the specialization is for one subject for which you need to do research work, take up teaching sessions, present research papers and also do a dissertation.
Then you get a specialization in that particular law.
The course throughout however consists of other laws as well and you are taught some other laws depending on the university and their academic council.
The subjects are though important and are required to be taught.
But essentially it is a specialization in one field of law with other general subjects

Well, there is no age limit as such fixed as of now, as the earlier upper age bar was lifted by the Supreme Court on a PIL filed by 2 aspirants.
However, there is an upper age bar on judicial services exam, which differs from state to state for instance, in UP the upper age limit is 35 years while in Haryana it is 40 years.
And, for Delhi also it may be fixed to 32 years most probably.
So, you do not have any age limit to do LLb, but if you aim at judiciary, then you have to make sure to complete the degree within the age limits of judicial services exams of a respective state you look for.
However, you may choose to appear for Higher Judicial Services, where the age bar is available upto 45 years and, thus you get a chance to become a judge after satisfying other eligibilities.
Thus, in a nutshell, age does not really is a bar to become a judge provided you plan it accordingly, as after a maximum age you would be ineligible for any of the 2 exams.

Well this a mistaken idea that majority of law colleges are located in U.P. U.P, being a huge state, it has an advantage of having a number of institutes owing to available land. As there are many states which has a number of law schools for example Gujarat apart from GNLU, has Siddhartha Law college, Auro University Of Law, Institute of Law, Nirma University, United Global World School Of Law, RN Patel school of Law and many more. Thus, it is not the case that UP has majority of law schools as every state has a number of Law schools and universities.
U.P has RMLNLU, Amity University, BHU amongst top and not much Law schools are there comparing with Gujarat. For instance, similar number is there. Also, Delhi has a number of law schools, and so does Maharashtra and Karnataka have.
So, it can't have generalized and concluded that U.P has the majority of law schools, but it does have a good number of law institutes owing to available cheap land and political interference as well.

Following forms the syllabus of IPU CET LLB:
English Language and Comprehension: The section has questions to evaluate a candidate's English language skills. English Language and Comprehension section comprises different topics including Prepositions, Articles, Sentence Construction, Narration, Comprehension and Vocabulary.
General Knowledge: This section would test the general awareness of the candidate and includes questions related to the following topics National Culture & History, Geography & Natural Resources, Science & Technology, International Affairs and Current National Events.
Reasoning: Reasoning Section include the basic reasoning skills where questions will be of Numerical and Logical Reasoning types.
Legal Aptitude: The section would check the ability to grasp basic legal knowledge of terms. The questions would comprise topics including General Legal Awareness and Understanding & Application of Legal Principles.
Also, there shall be 150 questions and also a negative marking of 1 mark shall also be applicable.
Well, the strategy differs from person to person but as a basic rule, read more and practice more. Do not panic looking at the volume of the course. Follow good study material and online mocks and previous year's papers.

Well, there is no such college that offers a Masters with LLB as integrated course as that is not the common preference and such kind of courses have not been introduced yet. However, you would get a BSW LLB college such as NALSAR Hyderabad, GNLU Gandhinagar, LLoyd Law College, etc. Or, you may get colleges for pursuing Masters in social work alone and then you could opt for LLB.
In India, I believe that there is no such provision yet implemented wherein a Masters with LLB is offered. Every integrated law course consists of both undergraduates degree such as BA LLB.

and I fear that such a provision for integrated MSW and LLB shall be introduced.
So, you have options to go for BSW LLB Or Go for separate Masters in social work and then pursue a LLB by any of available institutes.
