For admission to the B.A. LL.B. Direction at Government Law College, Madurai, the cutoff is primarily based on Class 12 marks.

For General category, you want around eighty five–ninety marks out of one hundred.

For BC/MBC/SC/ST, cutoffs are barely lower, around 80–eighty five marks.

The final cutoff can range each year relying at the range of candidates.

Higher marks provide better chances in the TNDALU counselling technique.

No, an M.Com degree, even from an OUS system, does not qualify you for an LLM program. To be eligible for an LLM, you typically need to have completed a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree or a five-year integrated law degree from a recognised university.

No, there is no negative marking in the Andhra Pradesh LAWCET exam. Candidates can attempt all 120 questions without any penalty for incorrect answers. The exam consists of multiple-choice questions (MCQs). This very different and unique from other entrance exam like JEE Mains and NEET GUJCET entrance exams where negative marking are done.
