The TS LAWCET and TSPGLCET exams have different syllabuses because they are meant for different levels of law courses.
- TS LAWCET is for admission into 3-year and 5-year LLB programs. Its syllabus includes:
- General Knowledge and Mental Ability
- Current Affairs
- Aptitude for the Study of Law
- TSPGLCET (Telangana State Post Graduate Law Common Entrance Test) is for admission into LLM courses. Its syllabus focuses on advanced legal subjects, such as:
- Jurisprudence
- Constitutional Law
- Public International Law
- Mercantile Law
- Labour Law
- Crimes and Torts
- IPR and Other Laws
So, while both are law entrance exams conducted by Osmania University on behalf of TSCHE

Candidates will get to know the address of the TS PGLCET exam centre once the admit card is released. The TS PGLCET exam will be conducted online as a computer-based test, but candidates will have to visit the TG PGLCET test centre to take the exam.
