No, admissions to all courses offered by Banasthali Vidyapith are open for women candidates only. The university is one of the two higher education institutes in India meant only for women. Moreover, the university vouches to offer admissions irrespective of their race, religion, caste, colour, or domicile. Moreover, the student reviews on the Shiksha page suggest that the campus is safe for women in terms of security. Outsiders can't enter the campus unchecked, and guards and CCTV cameras are present everywhere.

Yes, NRI candidates can also apply for LLM admissions at Banasthali Vidyapith. However, the university provides a limited number of seats for foreign/NRI-sponsored candidates. The annual fees for such candidates differ from those for Indian citizens. The annual fee for students falling under the NRI category is 3,800 dollars. Moreover, such candidates must provide the following documents:

  • Original Certificates/marksheets of the qualifying examination
  • Foreign Bank Account Number or NRI Account Number of the NRI applicant or NRI Sponsor of the applicant
  • Declaration regarding the non-resident Indian status of the NRI applicant or NRI Sponsor

The minimum qualifying marks and cutoff marks for AP LAWCET are distinct terms with different meanings:

Minimum Qualifying Marks: These are the set threshold scores that candidates must achieve to be eligible to participate in further admission processes, such as counseling. For AP LAWCET, the minimum qualifying marks are typically 35% (42 out of 120) for general category candidates. There are no minimum qualifying marks for SC and ST candidates.

Cutoff Marks: These are the specific ranks or marks that determine admission into particular colleges. The cutoff marks vary based on factors like the number of seats available, college preferen

Several factors influence the AP LAWCET cutoff each year. The main factors include the following:

  1. Difficulty Level of the Exam: If the AP LAWCET exam is more challenging, the overall scores may be lower, leading to a lower cutoff. Conversely, an easier exam can result in higher scores and thus a higher cutoff.
  2. Number of Applicants: A larger number of applicants increases competition, which can drive the cutoff higher. Fewer applicants can lead to a lower cutoff.
  3. Number of Seats Available: The total number of seats offered by participating law colleges significantly affects the cutoff. Fewer seats can result in higher cutoffs, while more s

The cutoff for AP LAWCET last year varied based on the law colleges in Andhra Pradesh and the category of candidates. For the 3-year LLB program, for instance, open category male candidates applying to top colleges like Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Law College in Visakhapatnam needed a rank around 270, while for females, the closing rank was around 269. In contrast, candidates from reserved categories such as SC and ST had significantly higher closing ranks, often exceeding 1000.

These cutoffs change annually based on factors like the number of applicants, exam difficulty, and available seats.
