Hi. L.B.S. College of Engineering, Kasaragod was established in 1993 as a self-financing engineering college under the propitious of L.B.S. Centre for Science and Technology, Thiruvananthapuram, a government of Kerala undertaking. 

Adequate infrastructure and laboratory facilities have been created over the years in various departments to meet the requirements of different courses as per the existing curriculum, along with a pool of experienced faculty and staff to handle these courses.

Being a Government of Kerala undertaking college with a consistent and relatively good academic and placement record, the college is one of the most sought-after colleges in the Malabar region.

Hi. LBSCE offers Under Graduate courses in BE/B Tech and Post Graduate courses in MCA & ME/M Tech.

Admissions for BE/B Tech will be based on the Candidate's aggregate marks obtained in the 10+2 Exam, and Selection will be based on the Candidate score obtained in KEAM Entrance Exam.

Admissions for ME/M Tech will be based on the Candidate's aggregate marks obtained in bachelor’s degree, and Selection will be based on GATE Valid Score.

Candidates looking to take admission for MCA Course must be eligible with aggregate marks in bachelor’s degree BCA. The selection of the Candidates will be based on Entrance Test that College will organize.

The cutoff at LBS College of Engineering through KEAM differs every year depending on the courses and categories. In general, cut-offs for popular streams like Computer Science and Engineering or Electronics and Communication Engineering range from INR 8,000 to INR 15,000. For Mechanical or Civil engineering, the cutoff stretches around INR 20,000 to INR 30,000.

SC/ST/OBC categories have more relaxed cut-offs, and admission is possible at more extended rank ranges. Even the cut-offs can be different from year to year or even can vary considering variables like applicant strength, vacant seats and the difficulty level of the exam. KEAM application Generally, the first week of March is considered to be the starting time for the KEAM application form. The application is provided online, and the last date to apply falls in the last week of March or early April. Admit cards are usually released by the second or third week of April.

The examination for KEAM is usually conducted in the months of April or May and subsequently, the result declaration takes place in May or June. After the declaration of the result counseling for B.E./B.Tech admissions start in LBS College of Engineering and other colleges from June end to July.
