It's great connecting with you. As per UGC norms in 2016, no affiliated university was allowed to offer distance learning for Ph.D. and M.Phil courses. Secretary of UGC Jaspal Sandhu said, Students are advised not to take admission in any M.Phil and Ph.D. course offered by any university or institution through distance learning. However, as of 2016, the UGC have advised the student to refrain from taking admission to the distance M.Phil programme. However, the body has allowed the IGNOU and the other state open universities to conduct M.Phil on a full time or part time basis. Hope this helps.

BA English is not coed at Loyola college. Only for French, Viscom and B. M. it is coed in the case of UG. However, girls can apply for all postgraduate courses at Loyola.

Candidates seeking admission to the UG Courses of Devi Ahilya Vishwavidylaya will be granted admission on the basis of the score obtained in CUET 2022. DAVV CET is scrapped for the UG admission. The admission form for CUET 2022 is available online.

For eg. , All admissions to Ph.D. programmes at Banaras Hindu University will be through a national-level Research Eligibility Test (RET). So as to identify the scholastic capabilities and aptitude for research, you'll have to clear all 3 levels of this test. There is no difference in validity for Ph.D. course in private, state or central universities if the university is duly approved by University Grants Commission (UGC). Therefore, if you are thinking to get admission in any private university, then first of all know that university is duly approved by UGC or not.
