Yes, Indian students can apply to the Uni of Liverpool with gap years. They'll need to justify the same with a strong personal statement. The statement should ideally mention work experience, volunteering, or skill-building activities.

For UG courses, upto 2 gap years are allowed. PG courses allow a gap of 3 to 5 years.

Placement year courses at the Uni of Liverpool allow UG students of its management school to spend a full-year (usually the 3rd year) working in the industry.

Students gain industry experience even before they graduate. Microsoft, Unilever, Walt Disney, NHS, and PwC are some of the top companies where Liverpool Uni graduates get to work.

This is on top of the annual tuition fees students pay to the college or university. For a 9-month academic session, Indian students need a minimum GBP 10,539 (INR 12.9 Lakhs).

It can be really tough getting into the University of Liverpool because of its acceptance rate, which is barely 14 to 24%.

This makes the Liverpool admissions very tough. To get in, Indian applicants will require a UG degree with a GPA of 3.0 or above on a 4.0 scale, along with the English language proficiency.

Yes University of Liverpool acceptance rate stands around 14-24% meaning out of every 100 candidates who apply for its admission process upto 24 will  be accepted. This makes it very hard to get into the university as only one tenth or one fifth of the applicants will be offered admission

Yes, other than IELTS or TOEFL, the Duolingo DET test is also valid for the University of Liverpool admissions.

Although international students should have a minimum score of more than 100 to get admission here.

If someone is applying to the University of Liverpool as an Indian student, then they are required to apply with an English language test score. The students can take IELTS, PTE or Duolingo to be able to apply here.

For most courses, the IELTS score requirement is  6.5 overall with no skills less than 5.5 but for the courses mentioned below this requirement can be much higher -

  • Dentistry

The specific score requirement might vary based on the programs.
