The initial fee deposit for Indian students at the Uni of Liverpool is GBP 2,000 (INR 2.5 Lakhs). This deposit only applies to PG students. The university does not provide any information on the payment of a tuition deposit for UG students.
The last date to make the depsoit for entry to the Sep 2026 intake is Sep 4, 2026.

Yes, Indian students can apply to the Uni of Liverpool with gap years. They'll need to justify the same with a strong personal statement. The statement should ideally mention work experience, volunteering, or skill-building activities.
For UG courses, upto 2 gap years are allowed. PG courses allow a gap of 3 to 5 years.

Indian students need a minimum bank balance of GBP 1,135 (INR 1.4 Lakhs) to study in Liverpool. This is required to prove Indian students have enough funds needed for everyday life in Liverpool.
This is on top of the annual tuition fees students pay to the college or university. For a 9-month academic session, Indian students need a minimum GBP 10,539 (INR 13.2 Lakhs).

It can be really tough getting into the University of Liverpool because of its acceptance rate, which is barely 14 to 24%.
This makes the Liverpool admissions very tough. To get in, Indian applicants will require a UG degree with a GPA of 3.0 or above on a 4.0 scale, along with the English language proficiency.

Yes University of Liverpool acceptance rate stands around 14-24% meaning out of every 100 candidates who apply for its admission process upto 24 will be accepted. This makes it very hard to get into the university as only one tenth or one fifth of the applicants will be offered admission

Yes, other than IELTS or TOEFL, the Duolingo DET test is also valid for the University of Liverpool admissions.
Although international students should have a minimum score of more than 100 to get admission here.

The Liverpool admissions can be very competitive and if you are applying as an Indian student, the admission requirements vary here.
As per those admission requirements, Indian students would require a minimum of 85% in the top core subjects in higher senior secondary exams. The other subject requirements are given below -
- A minimum of 80% in Chemistry
- A minimum of 80% from one of Biology, Physics, or Mathematics
- A minimum of 75% in English (not including Hindi, Regional Language)
