Yes, you can study LL.B. After graduation from YCMOU. The Yashwantrao Chavan Maharashtra Open University (YCMOU) was established in July 1989 by Act XX- (1989) of the Maharashtra State Legislature. It is the Fifth Open University in the country. Please write about the College/ University name for better response. The major admissions in leading Universities are based on Entrance/ Merit in qualifying exams. However the eligibility criteria of DU is given below for an idea. Eligibility : Graduation in any discipline with minimum 50% of marks for General, 45% for OBC and 40% for SC/ST. Entrance exam : DU LL.B. Entrance exam
The fee structure is also varying according to colleges. So please write about the college name.

The eligibility criteria of B.A. LLB (Hons.) five years duration of Kingston Law College Kolkata is given below.
Eligibility : 12th with minimum 45% of marks (For general candidates). The college reserves the right to give preference in admission to those candidates who have secured 60% above marks in 10+2 or equivalent Examination. So you are be eligible for B.A. LLB of asked college with Commerce stream in 12th.

It would be better if you appear for entrance exam to get admission in reputed law college. But you can also do LL.B. From colleges which do not require entrance score and give admission on basis of mimimum required marks. In your case, you can plan to specialize in taxation law. For that you can start practicing taxation law ( associating with a law firm or CA along with LL.B. And gain good experience in taxation law.

Law is a lucrative career option both for government and private sector job.
5 year LL.B. Is more beneficial. Career option after LL.B. -
- Higher studies ( LL. M, MBA etc. )
- Judiciary
- court practise
- other government jobs
- private sector job ( law firms, NGO, corporate)
Few suitable government exams after LL.B. -
- PCS J
- UPSC Law)
- Banks
- Railway
- PSU

- government law colleges like GLC
- Ambedkar Law College
- Rijvi law college affiliated
- NMIMS law college
- NLU Mumbai
- government. Law colleges affiliated to Mumbai University
- TISS Mumbai
Part time / distance law colleges in Minbai- GLC
- Symbosis
- BSE
- St. Xavier College
Few popular exams for admission in these colleges are MH-CET, TISSNET ISAT. Registration for MH-CET generally start in February but is late and tentative time is May / July. For exam like TISSNET ISAT you can check their websites.
