For someone who wants to make a career in law, LLB is an ideal choice. The worth of a degree depends on whether it makes you employable and gives you relevant skills and knowledge. You can also gain relevant experience from senior lawyers to make your profile stronger. One might add that an LLM increases the scope in law careers, which holds if you want to specialize in a certain domain like corporate, intellectual property law, contract law, etc.

Your aspirations are what make a course 'better'. Both courses have respective pros and cons. If you're already a graduate and want to transition your career towards the legal field go for a 3 year LLB. Talking of 12th pass outs - you can either go for a graduation first if you have yet to decide if Law is for you.
If you're certain on the fact that you want to pursue law only - then go for 5 year integrated course. Also a 5 year integrated course will save you one year as compared to traditional graduation followed by LLB.

Talking of abroad, some countries like UK, USA, Canada, and Australia may accept LLB with additional requirements like language proficiency, conversion exams and respective bar exams of each country.

LLB course is the primary choice for most law aspirants in India. For someone interested in legal field this is a safe choice. Class 12 pass-outs have 2 good options to go into this field. You can also go for a 3 year LLB after your graduation in whichever field you want to explore after 12th.
