There are 700+ best LLM colleges in India. About 350+ of 1 year LLM colleges in India are privately owned,  190+ of them are owned by the government and 20+ colleges are owned by semi-government institutions. Some of the top Law colleges in India are National Law School of India University, Symbiosis Law School, Nalsar University of Law, and Gandhinagar National Law University. CLAT, CUET PG, TS PGLCET, Andhra Pradesh PGLCET, etc. are some of the common entrance exams for admission to top LLM colleges in India.

The United Kingdom is among the popular destination to study LLM abroad on the other hand India has over 600 colleges to study LLM program. The cost of studying LLM in India is around 1 L to INR 5 L (complete fees) while the cost of studying LLM in UK is around INR 10 L to INR 40 L and more. However, if we compare LLM in UK and LLM in India in term of placements then UK colleges provide better placements than LLM colleges in India.
