Hi Boyapati, Due to the greater need of the logistics managers, an average logistics manager in India earns up to Rs. 5 Lacs per annum, which is comparatively a nice salary. Also, this is an average salary, so completing a course from better college or institute or getting placed at a much better organisation will definitely result in more than that. Adding to the context, the number given here is an average value which means the statistical analysis of the all the managers and not the highest salary, so the chances of the improvement are section and the number is considerable.

I think, MBA in port and shipping management might restrict your options to export and import related or shipyard management jobs. There might be an outside chances of procurement jobs. With MBA in logistics and supply chain, you would be suitable for roles in areas of logistics, distribution, warehousing, supply/demand planning, manufacturing and procurement. You also might have an outside chance of import export related roles.

Logistics and supply-chain management will be better than international business, but apart from these streams in MBA there are some other streams which are really good and, defently will have bright future like
Masters in ERP systems and Business analytics.
