The college offers only BTech and MTech courses. Admission to MTech is not done based on the scores obtained in any entrance exam. But, the candidates having valid scores in GATE or any other entrance exams will be given preference. Admission to BTech courses at the Loyola - ICAM College of Engineering and Technology is done based on the scores obtained in the TNEA counseling. The rank required in counseling for admission in 2024 for students belonging to the general category ranges between 10082 and 35670. The management quota, which covers 50% of seats, allows direct admission to Loyola-ICAM College of Engineering and Technology (LICET) for B.E./B.Tech. Candidates must have earned a minimum of 45% (general category) in mathematics, physics and chemistry during their 10+2 education. LICET does not provide a 100% scholarship to all the students for tuition fees. Some of the scholarships provided by LICET are Merit Cum Means for Minorities, Pragati, Shiksha, SC/ST/SCC, BC/MBC/DNC, Renault-Nissan French Company, and Jesuit Educational Scholarships. The terms for each scheme are different, and beneficiary students are required to apply through the national scholarship portal or the college administration.
