JEE (Mains) exam score may be considered for scholarship but you need to qualify the eligibility criteria first. Being Alumni of LPU, I would like to answer this question. At LPU, Admission in any programme depends on qualifying the Eligibility criteria for that programme. So, as per the official website of LPU, the Eligibility Criteria (Qualifying Exam) is defined as - Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics Mathematics and English or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPU NEST. LPU NEST is National Entrance and Scholarship Test for admission to various programmes in Lovely Professional University. This test forms the basis of Eligibility and Scholarship for most of the programmes and for some of the programmes test is applicable only for scholarship. LPU NEST serves both the purposes. Also, if you have qualified LPU NEST for Eligibility purpose, you can also improve your score for Scholarship purpose as well. For qualifying the LPU NEST for Eligibility purpose, around 40% marks are required but for Scholarship purpose, cut-offs are required to be qualified for LPU NEST. So, qualifying the same, you can proceed for Admissions. Admissions in LPU have started for most of the programmes. Chandigarh University is the one which provides SAP course inside the university, which has placements too. The placements of passing-out batch 2020 have bucked the fears of a slowdown in campus recruitments due to the global pandemic and lockdown situation prevailing in the country. Continuing its success story in Campus Placements, Chandigarh University saw 119 MNCs conducting virtual recruitment drives during the lockdown phase which has turned-out to be a national record. This was informed by Chancellor, Chandigarh University, Satnam Singh Sandhu, and Vice-President, Corporate Relations, Prof. Himani Stood during a media interaction at University Campus. LPU conducts LPU NEST as an entrance test for all the programmes. LPU NEST is National Entrance and Scholarship Test for admission to various programmes in Lovely Professional University. This test forms the basis of eligibility and scholarship for most of the programmes and for some of the programmes test is applicable only for scholarship.
