 Indian Council Of Agricultural Research (ICAR) - B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture, M.Sc. Ag. (Genetics & Plant Breeding), M.Sc. Ag. (Agronomy) and M.Sc. Ag. Horticulture (Fruit Science) programmes are accredited to ICAR by the National Agricultural Education Board of Indian Council of Agricultural Research, an autonomous body responsible for co-ordinating agricultural education and research in India. It reports to the Department of Agricultural Research and Education, Ministry of Agriculture.

Dear student, if you fulfil the attendance criteria and scores required CGPA as per the academic & examination rules you will be promoted to next semester. Attend all the classes and make your own notes to have a deep knowledge of the subject as these are your foundation years and your whole career and life depends over it. So try to have a good knowledge of every subject. Don’t try to go for shortcuts like mugging up only important topics, etc. LPU follows a continuous evaluation system that assesses students' performance throughout the academic year. This system includes regular assignments, quizzes, mid-term exams, laboratory work, and final exams. The continuous evaluation system helps students to stay on track with their studies and provide feedback to the faculty members to identify areas where students need additional support. LPU also follows a relative grading system, which means that a student's grade is determined in comparison to the performance of other students in the same class. This system ensures that the grading is fair and unbiased and that the students are evaluated based on their performance relative to their peers.

LPU offers hygiene mess plan that served 60000+ meals per Day . Mess Plan may be offered in 2 different categories i.e. Standard Mess and Ala Carte.  

• Standard plan includes option of North Indian Exclusive/ South Indian Exclusive / Rajasthani Exclusive / Haryanvi Exclusive / Eastern- North-Eastern Exclusive / Combo North-South Cuisines. North Indian and South Indian cuisines can be opted in the same hostel mess or at centralised locations. Regional cuisine is available at specific locations only.
• Ala Carte - Choice of Dishes plan includes option to take any available dish from any cuisine. For example, in lunch, student may pick a few dishes from available North Indian menu and a few from available South Indian menu and a few from some other cuisine. In dinner, student may opt differently as per his/her choice. This Mess Type will be served at selected locations that may be outside the allotted hostel. 

Congratulations my friend if you are planning for engineering and also from lpu then yes you must be having a good choice and bright future, so let me explain your about the Eligibility Criteria for B.Tech admission is you should be Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics, Mathematics and English) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST*that is university's eligibility and scholarship exam.

For a candidate, who has not studied English as a subject, the condition of English may be waived off provided the candidate in his qualifying exam has studied in English medium or an equivalent subject.

(5% relaxation to North-East states and Sikkim candidates or Defence Personnel and their Dependents or Wards of Kashmiri Migrants)

So For admission at LPU in B.Tech, university only considers overall percentage rather then pcm, you only have to be passed in your physics chemistry maths and English, so here you require 60% in class 12th, which is not being fulfilled, so you can not get admission in B.Tech. but if you belongs to North eastern states or have defence category then yes you can take admission but firstly you need to submit or mail your documents to the university for verification purpose and also you need to qualify Lpunest.

As per the present guidelines, for admission to B.Tech CSE at LPU, the applicant is required to have 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 with English Physics & Mathematics ) subject to qualifying LPUNEST or CUET or JEE. The qualifying marks for LPU NEST varies between 30% to 40% for different courses. You can check your eligibility on ground of these parameters.

Let me clear few things with you, To get admission in LPU, JEE Mains is not compulsory, LPU has its seperate eligibility and scholarship exam that is lpunest, however, if you need scholarship and admission without entrance paper you can get it through JEE Mains for this, you would have appear in JEE Mains and there are some specific criterias:-

JEE (Main) percentile of 85-89.99% - category 2 

JEE (Main) percentile of 80 - 84.99 - category 3  and to get direct admission without lpunest than You must score minimum of 80 percentile in JEE Mains
