We should not compare the two, both the universities are good at their place. But as a student of LPU I would like to tell you Ranking, education, placement, technology and infrastructure in every aspect LPU is better. Ranking: If I talk about ranking so LPU comes under top 100 amongst all private and government university. This year what shook me the most is the recent ranking by the worlds university ranking again amongst all government and private university. Placement: Placement is second most important factor what applicant can SEE in university/college while taking admission. So, in lovely professional university from 100 students 90-95 students get placement. Specifically in B.Tech, the highest salary package was 64lac per annum. In management it was 21lacs per annum. So, in my point of view its great packages as compare to any other university. Infrastructure: There is green areas in the university at so my different areas, classroom with a/c, google lab, IMAC lab, moot court, fine art lab, agriculture farmland, space centre, play grounds, and both girls and boys hostel

When it comes to placements, I can say that they are 100 percent, and students have special placement-oriented classes that help them pass the exam and interviews. Each year Every year, around 600 firms come to LPU for recruitment, with an average of 5-12 LPA packages. Every year, the number of visiting firms grows, and the University now boasts the greatest placements in North India. Aside from that, LPU has a lot of exposure and chances for students, and they have their own startup school, which was opened by None other than Late Shri Arun Jaitley. Lovely Professional University is one of the best university for all branches either it is civil, mechanical, EEE, ECE or others. It is definitely a growing university with great exposure. Considering the situations under civil engineering teaching, labs, exams, amenities in the campus all are par excellent. The basic objective of Civil Engineering is to contract with the planning, design, construction, and maintenance of structures and the infrastructure. These include buildings, bridges, transportation facilities, nuclear and conventional power plants, hydraulic structures, and other facilities essential to society. The course material provided here enables to practice civil engineering using up-to-date techniques, skills, and tools as a result of life-long learning ability to design and conduct experiments, as well as to analyze and interpret data. The course benefits the students by giving them an understanding of professional, ethical, legal, security and social issues and responsibilities. The Department aims to provide students with a technical foundation incorporated with the industrial need together with the breadth needed in the profession via advanced study or field training, or as a base for other pursuits. In order to get this develop we have timely workshops, and seminars. Coming to faculty, they are one of the best mentors to us & everything here is up to the mark. The faculty is supporting if one is willing to learn. They teach the subjects with their full effort. Writing board, screen-projector, labs are used to teach. The college arranges frequent industry visits. New innovative ideas were framed into working models and were showcased to 10000+ school students.

In my opinion, pursuing a B.Tech. In IT at a reputable and well-known university such as LPU is an excellent decision. This is an Engineering curriculum that integrates topics from fundamental Science to technology with applicable practice in the lab and projects to develop problem-solving abilities while adhering to industry standards. Students will gain networking, web development, cloud computing, and other fields. This university provides a four-year Bachelor's degree in information technology.
