Yes there are various courses in which you took admission on the basis of your board marks. As per the eligibility there is some specific percentage required in board marks to fulfill the requirement of the course. The eligibility for B Tech, BBA Hons, B.Sc. Hons and B.Com (Hons) programs is 60% and 50% marks required in 12th to take admission in B.Com BCA and BBA is 50 percent (5% relaxation to North-East states and Sikkim candidates or Defence Personnel and their Dependents or Wards of Kashmir Migrants). .

Students have to fulfill the requirements of the programme to take admission and every course has its own eligibility criteria. Some courses required minimum marks of 60%, 50% or in many programmes students can take direct admission. This question is hard to answer without knowing the name of your desired programme.

Yes, university is closed for students on Saturday and Sunday. But Saturday is a normal working day for all the staff members. Saturday is also working for students who enrolled placement preparation classes.
