The placements are completely based on the performance, as so many good companies come to campus drive in the college. Apart from on-campus drive college gives us an opportunity to go for off-campus also. The current placement status of my college is good and college tries their best so students of all departments got placed in the genuine companies before the final semester exam. Overall view of placement in this college is very good. So that every student can be placed in companies visited such as SNAP deal, IBM, Amazon, Wipro, TCS and many more. For the Job prospects, we have careers advise lectures every term. Lots of career organizations are promoted by the department and we are encouraged to sign up to these for extra advice and information. The best thing about the teaching of this course is that it is research-led. The lecturers are done regularly followed by proper research; to enhance their teaching. I like the fact that some of the lecturers encourage us to engage during lectures and discuss issues that arise in the subject they're teaching. It would be great if more lecturers did this. Time to time various events are organized in the university like workshops, Science quiz and many more events which explore the students knowledge. The facilities are really good - with a decent and hygienic quantity also. I tend to use the library computers and printers - of which there is a good supply.

See LPU offers more than 150 courses, and there is certain eligibility criteria that a student is required to meet to take admission. In general, the score in the previous qualification should be as required as per eligibility mentioned on the website. In addition to that, the candidate needs to qualify LPU NEST to get admission. For some courses LPU NEST is not mandatory. There are some courses for which the candidate needs to appear for an interview after qualifying LPU NEST. LPU NEST (Lovely Professional University National Entrance and Scholarship Test) is a national level entrance test conducted by LPU. The aim of conducting the test is to check how far the concepts are clear to the student. LPU NEST is considered for offering Scholarship as well as determining Eligibility for admission in various programmes. So, it totally depends on the eligibility criteria for the course you wish to take admission to. To take admission your LPU NEST score must be more than the set qualifying marks at that time and to avail scholarship it should be more than the cut-off. LPU NEST Cutoff is the minimum marks applicants need to attain for admission at LPU. The cutoff is dependent on the number of candidates, number of vacant seats, marks obtained by candidates in the entrance exam cut off of last year. The cutoff is divided into three categories and the shortlisted candidates receive the scholarship based on their marks/cut off category. Scholarship can be availed in all the Programmes of the University, ranging from Diploma to Ph.D. through LPU NEST score, and various other schemes. No, things are not too expensive in the University Mall. You will find each and everything in mall and inside shops at very affordable price. The products are of good quality and pocket friendly for every student. Students do not need to go outside for anything because inside the campus every required thing is available under one place. You can buy anything from gadgets to clothes from books to any eatery item. There are few shops For Shopping stuff we have, Sachdeva Gift Shop, Urban Pitara, etc. And the premises also include the SBI bank, ICICI Bank and Punjab National Bank. For general store shopping, they have WH Smith in the basement of the Unimall.
