1- the application of biotechnological processes and techniques in the processing of food and also guides toward evaluation of processed food.
2- understanding of enzymes useful in food product technology and food processing with respect to production and purification protocols, applications in commodity technologies, and their impact on sensory and nutritional quality.
3- Impart knowledge about different types of toxins found in foods, assessment of food toxins, various food laws and standards.
4- The course focuses on basic fundamental principles of juice processing and different unit operations involved in the processing.

Mechanical engineering is the study, design, development, construction, and testing of mechanical and thermal sensors and devices, including tools, engines, and machines. Mechanical engineers work mostly in engineering services, research and development, and manufacturing. I would say LPU is better for mechanical engineering based on the following point.
