PGD in guidance & counselling or postgraduate Diploma in guidance and counselling is a 1 to the 3-year Diploma course after Bachelor courses teaching ways on how to guide and do the counseling of students. The eligibility criteria for the course post graduate Diploma in guidance and counselling is to have a Bachelors degree with a minimum of 55% marks from a recognised institute. The admission process for the post graduate Diploma in guidance and counselling is to clear entrance exams taken by colleges and universities. The entrance exams are CAT XAT GMAT etc. The Post Graduate Diploma in Guidance and Counselling aims to counsel and guide the young generation for defining their career path ahead. Pass with 50% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with English or equivalent. Students who have topped their board examination of eligibility qualification (10th or 10+2 as applicable) and are among the top 20 merit holders, may avail scholarships of full tuition fee waiver and hostel fee waiver which is applicable to four-seater air-cooled rooms.
To facilitate quality education to deserving applicants, LPU offers a special scholarship of Full Tuition fee waiver to orphan students who are residents of India and whose both parents are dead. A maximum of 10 applicants will be awarded this scholarship on the basis of a first come first serve basis subject to satisfying the LPU policy for the same.

Dear aspirant as my brother has pursued B.Tech in civil engineering from LPU, I can give you better insight for the same. B.Tech in civil engineering is a four year programme which comprises of eight semesters. It is an Engineering programme which articulates the concepts from basic Science to technology through lab practice and projects to gain knowledge in areas like Structural, Environmental, Highway Engineering, Construction Management which are in sync with industry expectations.
