I was a student in the B.Tech CSE of 2012 batch, An Engineering programme that seamlessly articulates the concepts from basic Science to technology with relevant practice through lab and projects for building the problem-solving skills, keeping industry requirements in place. Students will develop competence in areas like programming, Database Management Systems, Networks and Security, Operating Systems, Cloud Computing etc. B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering is related with algorithms, computation, programming languages, programme design, computer hardware, computer software etc. It is a comprehensive course in computer systems and applications. The students who pursue the course of Computer Science Engineering are taught about design, the implementation as well as management of computer software and hardware.
1 Placement: Every year more than 500+ companies including national and multinational companies visit LPU for placement. A few of them are Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, etc. In which are placed. The maximum package availed for CSE is 42 lacs. Per annum by Microsoft in 2020. Undergraduate Research: A student can avail an option of undergraduate research to go beyond the obvious. The Student going for the research option will have to study four courses as Open Minor or Generic elective courses and the final year Capstone project of the Undergraduate programme will also be associated with the research options.

LPU offers a range of scholarships and financial aid. You do not have to apply for a scholarship every time you pay the fee. What you get at the time of admission, continues till the course is over. Orphan. LPU offers a special scholarship of Full Tuition fee waiver to Indian resident orphan students whose both parents are dead. The university gives scholarships based on a first come first serve basis to 10 applicants. The candidate having a benchmark disability of more than 70% and/or Locomotor disability caused by spinal cord injury can avail the benefit of a full programme fee waiver. However, the LPU committee scrutinizes the case. LPU offers exclusive Scholarship schemes for Tibetan Students studying in CTA (Central Tibetan Administration) Schools and Students studying in different schools managed by Vidya Bharati Akhil Bharatiya Shiksha Sansthan where based on tests conducted in schools of the concerned organisation and/or recommendation of the concerned authority of the organisation, certain students may be offered full tuition fee waiver.

One has to qualify LPU NEST as well. LPU has designed the programme with the most advanced & upgraded curriculum to meet the corporate Industry requirement. At the end of the course, LPU students become competent enough to get their dream jobs/careers. The programme focuses at :

SRM is a very good university. I can't do this comparison. I can only give you an overview of LPU since I am a faculty at LPU. The campus of 600+ acres – It may be not of interest to a student as of the Vast area, you'll only be having a particular block for your academics, eight hostels for boys and Six for girls. Your will need a place to stay so hopefully there's more than enough space to accommodate you. That's a plus point. Security measures for girls - If you're a girl and decide to reside in a hostel, you'll have to mark your attendance daily in the hostel to the floor warden and be in the hostel within the entry timings that are 6:00-6:30 in winters and 07:30 in summers probably. So if you don't enter into hostel till that time, you have to face the warden and see for any consequences. That's a bit harsh. While girls may not like this but I am sure their parents would surely do. But if you want to live somewhere else, there are plenty of PGs near the University. You can decide what's best for you, but you'll be super safe inside the hostels than in PGs that's for sure. You can go to the library from 08:00 PM to 12:00 AM. But will be accompanied by a guard from your hostel to the library. More than 200 courses are offered to range from Diploma to PG - You are probably going to find the best course for you among these. That's for sure. Another plus point is that 75% aggregate attendance is mandatory. You'll need to maintain a baseline of 75% aggregate attendance in order to be eligible to give exams. That's harsh and they won't accept any medical leaves or anything. Literally nothing they will accept from you. If you fall below 75% , you are not going to be eligible for final exams until you possess a good percentage in the last term. In that case, they'll provide you with some grace. That's a good point. Also, they have marking criteria for attendance. As your attendance increase or decrease, you'll have marks ranging from 2-to 5. That's for you to decide whether it's a plus point for you or not. Placement - Yes. Students do get placed from the university and a lot of drives are conducted from various companies. No doubt most of the drives are CSE/IT-based. Companies with decent packages come in. You'll have to compete with everyone to grab the opportunity but it'll be worth it. Tons of events - May it be Cultural, Sports, or Academic. There are numerous events held on the University campus itself.

In the education sector, Dayanand Sagar, Acharya Institute of Technology, C V Raman, LPU, and Techno India are performing well. I will provide the specifics of the EEE placements because I am an LPU alumnus. One of my buddies graduated from LPU with a B.Tech in EEE and was hired by Infineon with a good compensation package. For EEE/ECE students, LPU has a solid placement record. Every year, around 500 organizations, both national and global, come to LPU for job placement. BOSCH, Microsoft, Code Nation, Adobe, and others are just a handful of the companies that hire EEE/ECE students. LPU's highest package for the ECE programme is 31 LPA, with an average package of 5.1 LPA. The nicest thing about LPU in terms of placement is that they provide placement classes to all students who choose to do so starting in their first year. They can utilize this to prepare themselves for placements until the pre-final year because employers will begin visiting to recruit students in the pre-final year.
