LPU offers a range of scholarships and financial aid. You do not have to apply for a scholarship every time you pay the fee. What you get at the time of admission, continues till the course is over. However, the criteria are different for those who have sought admission through sports quota, board toppers, and performing arts. If you are a board topper and someone from the sports category and extracurricular performance category, you will have to either maintain a CGPA or keep performing in sports or extracurricular activities as the case may be. Otherwise, if you have got a scholarship through LPU NEST then you are not bound to maintain your academic or sports performance. There are other scholarships the university offers. Orphan. LPU offers a special scholarship of Full Tuition fee waiver to Indian resident orphan students whose both parents are dead. The university gives scholarships based on a first come first serve basis to 10 applicants. The candidate having a benchmark disability of more than 70% and/or Locomotor disability caused by spinal cord injury can avail the benefit of a full programme fee waiver. However, the LPU committee scrutinizes the case. LPU offers exclusive Scholarship schemes for Tibetan Students studying in CTA (Central Tibetan Administration) Schools and Students studying in different schools managed by Vidya Bharati Akhil Bharatiya Shiksha Sansthan where based on tests conducted in schools of the concerned organisation and/or recommendation of the concerned authority of the organisation, certain students may be offered full tuition fee waiver.

I must say you have got good percentage, it would be easy if you had mentioned which stream you had taken in your 12th, medical or non medical, commerce or arts. As LPU alumni, I would say LPU is the best university. Right from Google to Microsoft, LPU alumni are working with the top brands at the package of 1 crore and above. Annually, more than 450 brands come to LPU to recruit the students, where 90% of them are MNCs. Moreover, 80+ companies that recruit from IITs and NITs also recruit from LPU. Over the last three years, Cognizant alone has recruited 1900+ students from LPU campus and has been titled with the Most Employable Students consecutively twice in a row by the India's top talent company Aspiring Minds. Barring few names in south, there are hardly any college which can boast of such tall records. Learning beyond classrooms:-Why restricted to the books when you can learn directly from the author? Shiv Nadar is a good university. B Tech Automobile Engineering programme at LPU seamlessly articulates the concepts from basic Science to technology with relevant practice through lab and projects for building the problem-solving skills, keeping industry requirements in place. Students will develop competence in automobile engineering. The eligibility for the programme is Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics Mathematics, and English or equivalent. One has to qualify LPU NEST as well. LPU has designed the programme with the most advanced & upgraded curriculum to meet the corporate Industry requirement. At the end of the course, LPU students become competent enough to get their dream jobs/careers. The programme focuses at :
Developing the ability to comprehend the systems in the field of IC Engines, Automobile, Vehicle dynamics, vehicle testing, and Chassis Design. Propose solution built on an understanding of Thermodynamics Automotive suspension systems, Homologation and Pollution Control, Automotive component Design, Computer-aided vehicle design, and computer-aided manufacturing for the solutions to real-world problems. Demonstrate the ability to propose cost-effective optimized solutions for the automobile sector using simulated environments of Computer-aided Vehicle design, computer-aided manufacturing, and computer-aided engineering. Effectively build and communicate the solutions crafted using learnings from basic automobile engineering, basic sciences, mathematics, and computational skills and tools. Industry certifications, MOOCs, Hackathons / Co-curricular Competitive events, Workshops, Guest lectures, Educational Trips, Live projects, Incubation projects, Community projects, projects with NGOs, etc. Are an integral part of the curriculum. The Content delivery is done by industry experts. There are Projects to be made in collaboration with the industry. Apart from the regular curriculum, Engineering Minors are offered to students by LPU which are - HVAC, Materials Treatments & Testing, Robotics & Mechatronics, and Six Sigma.
The highest salary offered was 31lpa and the average was 4.2 LPA. Rs 48 k internship was the highest internship paid to a student. Students are placed in the best brands like BOSCH ENGINEERING, BOSCH, AND SIEMENS, ASHOK LEYLAND, FORBES MARSHALL, VA TECH WABAG LIMITED, JINDAL UDYOG, GE POWER, etc.

SRM is a very good university. I can't do this comparison. I can only give you an overview of LPU since I am a faculty at LPU. The campus of 600+ acres – It may be not of interest to a student as of the Vast area, you'll only be having a particular block for your academics, eight hostels for boys and Six for girls. Your will need a place to stay so hopefully there's more than enough space to accommodate you. That's a plus point. Security measures for girls - If you're a girl and decide to reside in a hostel, you'll have to mark your attendance daily in the hostel to the floor warden and be in the hostel within the entry timings that are 6:00-6:30 in winters and 07:30 in summers probably. So if you don't enter into hostel till that time, you have to face the warden and see for any consequences. That's a bit harsh. While girls may not like this but I am sure their parents would surely do. But if you want to live somewhere else, there are plenty of PGs near the University. You can decide what's best for you, but you'll be super safe inside the hostels than in PGs that's for sure. You can go to the library from 08:00 PM to 12:00 AM. But will be accompanied by a guard from your hostel to the library. More than 200 courses are offered to range from Diploma to PG - You are probably going to find the best course for you among these. That's for sure. Another plus point is that 75% aggregate attendance is mandatory. You'll need to maintain a baseline of 75% aggregate attendance in order to be eligible to give exams. That's harsh and they won't accept any medical leaves or anything. Literally nothing they will accept from you. If you fall below 75% , you are not going to be eligible for final exams until you possess a good percentage in the last term. In that case, they'll provide you with some grace. That's a good point. Also, they have marking criteria for attendance. As your attendance increase or decrease, you'll have marks ranging from 2-to 5. That's for you to decide whether it's a plus point for you or not. Placement - Yes. Students do get placed from the university and a lot of drives are conducted from various companies. No doubt most of the drives are CSE/IT-based. Companies with decent packages come in. You'll have to compete with everyone to grab the opportunity but it'll be worth it. Tons of events - May it be Cultural, Sports, or Academic. There are numerous events held on the University campus itself.

In the education sector, Dayanand Sagar, Acharya Institute of Technology, C V Raman, LPU, and Techno India are performing well. I will provide the specifics of the EEE placements because I am an LPU alumnus. One of my buddies graduated from LPU with a B.Tech in EEE and was hired by Infineon with a good compensation package. For EEE/ECE students, LPU has a solid placement record. Every year, around 500 organizations, both national and global, come to LPU for job placement. BOSCH, Microsoft, Code Nation, Adobe, and others are just a handful of the companies that hire EEE/ECE students. LPU's highest package for the ECE programme is 31 LPA, with an average package of 5.1 LPA. The nicest thing about LPU in terms of placement is that they provide placement classes to all students who choose to do so starting in their first year. They can utilize this to prepare themselves for placements until the pre-final year because employers will begin visiting to recruit students in the pre-final year. In their last year, some students participate in internships.

The maximum salary offered was 40 LPA and the average salary was 5.7lpa. Recently, an LPU student Tanya Arora got placed in Microsoft with 42 LPA this year. The B Tech CSE programme is one programme that LPU is known for. Well-tailored course content to meet the global industrial needs, good faculty, and state-of-the-art facilities have left many NITs far behind. The B Tech CSE programme primarily deals with the development as well as designing of computer software and hardware processes with a strong focus on courses related to algorithms, computation, programming languages, programme design, computer hardware, computer software, databases, operating systems, computer networking, etc. That are needed to build and solve problems using computers
The curriculum taught here is of international standard. One gets to learn from foreign and industry experts. There are provisions of international credits in some programs where a student gets an opportunity to go abroad to study. Highlights
