Yes, BTech in CSE is a good decision to pursue at LPU. I will give you the reason why LPU is the best private university in India for higher education.
Good Placement: LPU has a good placement record for CSE students. Every year more than 500+ companies including national and multinational companies visit LPU for placement. A few of them are Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, etc. in which they are placed. The maximum package availed for CSE is 42 lacs. per annum by Microsoft.
LPU has a very good placement and achieved awards for employability also. The main thing for placement that I liked there is that LPU provides placement class

The campus life of LPU is really awesome and feels like a foreign country. Students come from across the globe i.e. nationals or internationals. Even the events which are conducted depict the diversity as students represent their culture, through which we learn a lot.
All facilitates are provided at the Campus Hostel and you'll have the complete choice to choose the accommodation that suits you and your budget.

Yes, LPU is the best private university for the BTech in Computer Science and Engineering. I did my MBA from LPU and one of my friend's younger brothers is studying over there in B.Tech CSE.
There are a few points I would like to share about why CSE is good at LPU.

Yes, LPUNEST exam is mandatory to qualify, and you should have passed with 60% aggregate marks in:
(a) 10+2 or Intermediate (with English*, Physics, Chemistry, and Maths or Biology or Forestry)
OR
(b) 10+2 or Intermediate (Agriculture)
OR
(c) 2 years Diploma in Agriculture after 10th or equivalent
Condition of English as a subject may be waived off provided the candidate has studied in English medium.

To the best of my knowledge, you should have passed with 60% aggregate marks in B.Sc. Agriculture or B.Sc. Agriculture (Hons.) (4 years) or equivalent to get admission to the MSc in Agriculture programme at LPU. Moreover, you have to qualify for the LPUNEST exam conducted by LPU.
