Admission on the basis of CUET-PG scores has been started this year only, and this will be the first time that admission will be conducted by participating colleges on the basis of CUET. However, 88 is a very good rank, and you may easily get admission to top Central universities. For example you may get admission to following universities for Masters in English in following universities:
1. Central University of Rajasthan
2. Mahatma Gandhi Central University
3. Central University of Haryana

Hello dear aspirant The University of Hyderabad is a prestigious public central research university located in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. Founded in 1974, this mostly residential campus has more than 5,000 students and 400 faculty, from several disciplines. The cutoff for masters in english is not specified as it keeps on changing every year. But it mainly remains in between 57-63 overall and varies from category to category. Keep asking- get shiksha.

Hello dear student, North-Eastern Hill University is a Central University established on 19 July 1973 by an Act of the Indian Parliament. The university is in the suburb of Shillong, the state capital of Meghalaya, India. The university has two campuses: Shillong and Tura both are in Meghalaya.To be eligible for admission in M.A. program at NEHU Shillong, candidates must possess a graduation degree with a minimum of 50% marks. Yes you can do, you have to satisfy eligibility criteria of the University where you will apply for admission.
