Yes, after earning a Bachelor of Arts (BA),  it is typically feasible to pursue a Master of Arts (MA) in journalism. After completing their undergraduate studies, graduates of various colleges and institutes can pursue graduate programmes in journalism or similar subjects.

Colleges may have different prerequisites for admission, but typical requirements for a master's programme in journalism are generally the same. Students who have completed a Bachelor's degree or a relevant undergraduate degree can pursue a Master of Journalism. Candidates who have completed graduation with 50% aggregate. Students should have bachelor’s degree from an acknowledged College or University. Students who have complete PG degree are too allowed to register for the course. Candidates with a stronghold on English language are occasionally picked at the time of admission. The selection criteria for the course is Entrance Test + Interview.

Yes, NSOU Kolkata offers direct admissions to all of its programmes. Candidates are not required to appear for any entrance exam. Interested candidates can directly apply through the official website and get admission by paying the fees.

Further, after the conclusion of the application process, PTU shortlists students and calls them for the personal interview round.
