An MA in mass communication and media is a postgraduate degree in mass communication. This course has a total duration of two years and is divided into four semesters. Communication Research, development communication, media development, interactive communication skills, media law and ethics, and other topics are covered in this course.

Admission to colleges that provide Mass Communication is based on a test administered by the different colleges and universities. Following that, candidates must participate in a Group Discussion and a Personal Interaction round, depending on the college they wish to attend.

MA Mass Communication and Media Colleges in India: Eligibility Criteria 

Candidates can pursue a mass communication and media course at the postgraduate level, provided if they meet the eligibility standards given below.  

  • All candidates should clear graduation in any stream from a recognised university with the minimum required percentage (50% - 60%) as stipulated by a university/ college.
