AMSOM offers two-year MA Economics programme divided into four semesters. Admission to MA programme is based on online General Economic Awareness Test (GEAT) conducted by the school followed by a personal interview round.
The university offer admission to the candidates who meet its standard performance requirements across all the selection components, as defined by the admission committee, and as approved by the competent authorities. Candidates need to pass bachelor's degree with at least 50% aggregate (45% aggregate for SC/ ST) for MA programme.

The minimum duration of the Programmee is two years from the date of registration for MA at Netaji Subhas Open University. The registration is valid for a period of maximum five years provided the candidate pays renewal fees and other relevant fees within due time as and when notified by the University. University conducts PG admission for January Session. Courses are offered in annual system.
