For the MA, the Andhra University - Kakinada Campus is not really an expensive campus. Compared to a private university, the tuition fees are quite affordable, ranging from around INR 10,000 to INR 30,000 per annum, depending on the specialization. Other additional costs such as books and hostel fees are also low. Scholarships and fee concessions at this campus make it even more budget friendly for those eligible.

To be admitted to Master of Arts (MA) programs at Kakinada campus, Andhra University, applicants will have to usually complete a 3-year bachelor's degree (BA or equivalent) under 10+2+3 from any recognised university. Admission is obtainable mainly through Andhra Pradesh Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (AP PGCET) or such qualifying examinations.
