You have not mentioned your score card. You need to pursue your Masters from an institution which would give worth to your Masters degree, that is a college which has research facilities too. You can brows the sites of Miranda, Xavier's, LPU to check the academic excellence of good faculty, infrastructure, live projects, seminars, exposure, platform, scholarships, placements etc. LPU also provides special aids for research work too. The online admissions are on so better be fast in deciding. All the Best !

Hi,The study material for any entrance exam can be checked very clearly from the web site of a college. All the colleges of repute give all the details of the college including the tests on their websites. IYou can also browse some college sites which clearly state all details of admission criteria. Like I know the web site of LPU which would inform you the eligibility for a course, admission criteria as well as the scholarship for which you would be eligible including the scholarships it offers to aid education in such grim conditions of COVID. The entrance test syllabus and paper pattern too is given. So browse some college web sites

HiM.A. English requires pass with 50% aggregate marks in Bachelors degree (any discipline) or equivalent. Try to go for a college which would give your career an impetus by aiding to your research work too as a career after Masters would boom if added with a UGC NET exam and a Ph.D. Browse some good institutions giving academic excellence like Sri Ram College, AMU with experienced faculty and good infra structure, LPU with good academics, platform and exposure It also provides special aids for students to pursue their research.
