National Eligibility Test is conducted by University Grants Commission (UGC) and is a gateway test in our country to start career as Lecturers or Assistant Professors in various Colleges, Universities and other Educational Institutions. This NET (National Eligibility Test) is conducted twice a year i.e. in the months of June and December and the notifications are released in March and September. UGC grants Junior Research Fellowship to the NET passed out candidates who are interested in research work in various universities and colleges.

Yes, you are eligible for M.Com but getting admission into Symbiosis will totally depend upon the cutoff, availability of seats and number of students applying for the same course.

You can pursue various courses through distance education. But, would you be able to study for both? What if the exam dates collide? There is no law that is stopping you from pursuing both the courses through open mode. But, it is a question of practicality. You can do MBA later too without any consequences.

As an M.Com graduate, you can pursue Ph.D. from any recognized college/university. MBA is not required.
