Yes and no. In the end, you have to sit through rounds and rounds of tech interviews which eventually comes down to your own knowledge rather than the degree you hold. Yes, if the prof you wrote your thesis under has contacts in India, or is well known in the academic circle, and if she/he is willing to help you, then you might bypass a few of the interview rounds. The admission procedure varies from university to university. 82% is quite good. Take IELTS. Some universities require least one year of experience in related to your profession or either be in the practice of medicine or surgery. There are different routes for admission. You have to check with the universities directly please. It requires that candidates directly communicate with the admission team, find a supervisor etc. Manchester University, King's College London, Imperial College, University of Edinburgh are just some of the few popular ones.
