Kamaraj College of Engineering and Technology M.E admission is done on the basis of valid score in the accepted entrance exam followed by counselling for seat allotment. As per the official website, 50% of the seats are allocated by Anna University's counselling process and the other 50% through Consortium of Self-Financing Professional, Arts and Science Colleges in Tamilnadu. The eligibility criteria is as follows:

Aspirants need to complete a bachelor's degree or equivalent in the relevant field and obtained at least 50% aggregate (45% aggregate in the case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the qualifying degree examination to apply for KPRIET ME programme. Below are the degree required:

• B.E. / BTech/ B.Arch. Degree Programmes (or)
• B.Pharm. Degree Programmes (or)
• Master's Degree in the relevant branch of Science / Arts, which are prescribed

Aspirants who have completed Class 12 with AMIE or Class 10 along with three-year Diploma are AMIE are also eligible to apply.

V V College of Engineering offers admission to the two-year M.E. course is through GATE/CEETA. The degree is offered in four specialisations, namely, M.E. Applied Electronics, M.E. CAD/CAM, M.E. Computer Science and Engineering and M.E. Power Electronics and Drives. The college is affiliated with Anna University.

For admission to DY Patil Pimpri for M.E courses, candidates must have a valid MHTCET M.Tech score. The last-round ranks for the General All India category were closed between the range of 9 and 24, considering the DY Patil Pimpri. The lowest percentile cutoff stood at 9 for M.Tech. in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering.
