V V College of Engineering admission 2025 is entrance-based. The students are selected based on the national-level entrance exam, i.e., GATE and CEETA exams for M.E course admission. However, students looking for B.E. course admission candidates are selected based on merit + TNEA counselling.

V V College of Engineering Training and Placement Cell is an integral part of our institution. The institute has provided the complete infrastructure for effective functioning of the cell. The cell is sensitized to function all through the year towards generating placement and training opportunities for the students. Training activities are organized throughout the year in an effort towards preparing the prospective students for the campus selection programmes.

V V College of Engineering offers great infrastructural facilities to students. Some of the campus facilities are as follows:

Library: The library of the college was established in the year 2010, was functioning in the main building of the college till 2012. Recently, it has been named Kamarajar Memorial Library and shifted to a spacious area of 50,500 sq.ft.

Transport facilities: V V College of Engineering offers transport facility at the radial distance of 75 km. Buses ply to three districts - Tirunelveli, Thoothukudi and Kanyakumari, to help the students reach college and home safely.

Hostels: The college has a separate hostels for both boys and girls. The hostel offers enough space to learn and achieve better position for each student. The interactive sessions by the concerned staff members during hostel study hour inculcates learning strategies and make learning knowledgeable.
