Admission to the M.E. course is based on GATE/MHTCET M.Tech score. The Maharashtra M.Tech Admissions are conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Maharashtra. GATE scores will be considered for M.Tech admissions as DTE Maharashtra does not have a separate M.Tech Entrance Exam. Based on GATE scores, DTE Maharashtra publishes the merit list for admission. Three rounds of counselling will be used to allot seats to candidates whose names are on the list.

BITS Pilani looks into M.E. CGPA for placements rather than 10th, 12th, or graduation marks. However, overall academic performance may be taken into consideration in some cases:
Cut-off for specific companies: There are certain companies that have strict minimum CGPA cut-offs for eligibility in their recruitment process. These cut-offs vary company-wise and are quite often on the higher side than the institute's average cut-off.
Interview shortlisting: although the CGPA remains the most important criterion, a student can get an interview call based on other parameters like projects, extra-curricular activities, and aptitude test performa

With 184 marks, getting a seat for M.E. in Computer Science and Engineering at SSN College of Engineering may be difficult, as the college has high competition, particularly for good branches such as CSE. Admission is to get determined by a variety of factors, including the year's cutoff, category reservations, and the availability of seats. Because of the high demand, M.E. in CSE typically requires higher marks. However, you may still be eligible based on the year's specific cutoffs and your performance in any college-conducted entrance exams or interviews.
