Yes, Dr DY Patil School of Engineering and Technology (DYPSOET) is more affordable than TSSMCOE Pune for an ME. This observation is based on the comparison between the tuition fees for a Master of Engineering (ME) at both these institutes. Candidates may want to compare the two based on factors other than the tuition fee before making the final choice.
The tuition fees for ME at DYPSOET Pune and TSSMCOE Pune are presented in the table below:
Institute | Tuition Fees* |
---|---|
ME at DYPSOET Pune | INR 74,000 - INR 1.4 lakh |
ME at TSSMCOE Pune | INR 1.5 Lakh |
*The mentioned fee is sourced from the official website of the institute/sanctioning body. It is still subject to change and hence, is indicative.

Yes, you can still pursue an ME by exploring universities that admit students based on their own entrance exams, academic records, or interviews rather than relying solely on GATE scores. Many reputable private institutions in India offer ME programs through their own selection processes.Universities such as Vellore Institute of Technology, Manipal University, SRM Institute of Science and Technology, and Amity University have well-regarded ME programs and flexible admission criteria that might be more aligned with your current situation.
