Hi Amrinder,
Fee structure for MS in Canada may range from CDN$10,000 to CDN$30,000 per year. Fee may be slightly higher depending on the university. You must also consider an additional expense of Rs. 4 to Rs.10 lakh as living expenditure. Remember that cost of living is high in big cities such as Vancouver and Toronto. Also you must consider application fee between CD$150 to CDN$250 per application/ per university. Refer to the latest conversion rates to view the amount in INR.
Canada is one of the fewest countries offering low tuition fee to international students in order to provide affordable quality education.
I hope it helps. Ple

Hi Sachin,
You must complete your bachelor's degree with quite good academic grades. GRE is optional for German universities, so you will be required to take only IELTS or TOEFL. You must check the university websites for minimum requirements. Fee is usually quite reasonable and may be around EURO 250 per semester for international students and varies with the universities. I will also suggest you to go through the DAAD website which contains fee and scholarship information.
Here are the links-

I hope it helps.

Hi Sugandha,
VCU is one of the oldest and prestigious universities in US. It is a highly respectable university in the world. A dual degree is a very good opportunity for you to gain international exposure and meet new people from varying backgrounds. You must however meet admission requirements of both the universities. Under the dual degree scheme you will have the following specializations to choose - Finance, Global Marketing and Information Security.
Do consult with your university for any latest updates though. VCU has also been popular for finance and management courses so you make take this leap.

Hi Maheswar,
On the whole, no. Fees is very high. They have what they say bursary- financial help for bright but poor students. It is worth a try, but I doubt if they will offer to someone from outside the EU countries. You must also have excellent academic standing for any free seat.
All the best.

Hi G J,
Scholarships are awarded entirely on the basis of merit. It is the same in every country. You must have high percentage, additional achievements, extra-curricular activities etc. for scholarship consideration.
Applicants are considered for scholarship as and when they apply. So, you must first complete your bachelor degree with excellent grades to be considered for admissions as well as scholarships at a German university. Additional research work, publication, seminars, voluntary work etc. will also help a lot.
All the best.

Although, MS in Germany will be best for your field and also cost, but having siblings in the USA will have a huge advantage in terms of finding Internships or stay. Your marks are good in SSC and degree, so far which will result in good GPA. Simultaneously, get following score, after completion of the degree:
1. GRE> 320
2. TOEFL>105
Germany has a very low tuition fee and many universities offer MS in English language, but full advantage can be taken only if you clear German language 'A' level (250 Hours) course. Living costs will be at least 25% higher compared to USA where you can manage within $600 per month.

For admission in MS, you may try Australia or UK universities where GPA requirement is low as compared to USA. Because of your low graduation marks, your GPA will be low. While pursuing MS, in second semester, you will have to secure an internship with some company there. After successful completion of the internship, if they offer you a job, then the job letter will ensure work permit and extension of the VISA but to complete the procedure, you will have to return to India once.

Your University of study and its accreditation status, GRE score requirements, affordability status, availability of scholarships and loan assistance etc. are some of the factors that need to be considered.

If money is your problem, look for loan assistance and scholarship options. You must also clear GRE with required scores. You should have your affordability status in mind before choosing a university for your program. You can also visit: http://www.scholars4dev.com/tag/scholarships-for-indians/
