Yes, you can apply for both UGC NET and CSIR NET exam. As your post graduation subject Geoinformatics is related to the Geography and Earth Science, so you can appear for UGC NET with Geography subject and CSIR NET Earth Science exam. To apply for the exams you have to fulfill the eligibility criteria. You should have minimum 55% aggregate marks in M.Sc. If you want to appear for JRF exam then you have to also follow age criteria I. e. For CSIR NET - 28 years (Maximum Age)
For UGC NET 30 Years (Maximum Age)
OBC/SC/ST/PwD/Women candidates get the 5 years age relaxation. You can get the detailed information related to exam

Mandatory courses: B.Sc (Biotechnology, Agriculture, and Biology), BE/B.Tech (Agriculture & Farm Engineering, and Biotechnology Engineering).
Candidate must have obtained a Bachelor's degree (B.Sc/B.Tech in biological science or equivalent) in physical science under the 10+2+3 pattern of education with a minimum of aggregate 55%.

M.Sc in life sciences, any stream (Botany, Zoology, Biotechnology or Microbiology) with at least 55% marks for general (you) and OBC candidates and 50% for SC/ST, Persons with Disability (PwD) candidates. Now, B.Tech or M.Tech biotechnology students are also eligible.
M.Sc, B.Tech or M.Tech final year students can also apply.
