Both MA and MSc Home Science are post graduate degrees in Home management. Home Science identifies the ways and means to build up a healthy family life. The subject mainly focuses on the different aspects of food and nutrition, Child development, Textile industry, home welfare and so on.
There exists only a marginal difference between these postgraduate courses. The main difference lies in the emphasis given to certain topics of study. MA Home Science stresses on the artistic values in Home management where as MSc Home Science focuses on the scientific aspects in house keeping. Even though there exist a lot of career opportunities
