Entrance Mode:
The top entrance exams for Master of Science in Botany are:
BHU Post Graduate Entrance Test: Held by Banaras Hindu University in May every year, it is a university level entrance test to take admission for Post Graduate programs at BHU. This test asks questions from Zoology, Chemistry and Botany.
Joint Entrance Test: Conducted every year by the University of Rajasthan in June, Joint Entrance Test is an entrance examination for admissions to postgraduate courses. Its syllabus covers Zoology, Chemistry and Botany.
SVUCET: This entrance examination is held in June every year by Sri Venkateswara University Common Entrance Test.

Eligibility: BE/B.Tech or equivalent qualification in first class with an aggregate minimum of 65% marks (average of all semesters for which results are available) or CGPA 6.84 on a ten scale. Minimum of 65% marks or CGPA 6.84 in section B alone for candidates with AMIE/Grad IETE qualification.
