For MS courses in Canada you need to write IELTS which is for English test and GRE test which is a prerequisite for almost all Universities to apply for.

Hi Aswin,
Yes, it matters. But also it depends on the university how strictly it checks the backlogs and how much weightage they give. Your final scores will also be checked and that is more important. Canada is difficult, they don't accept backlogs, not upto 11. You check options in Europe. A strong SOP and good LORs are recommended.

Major universities are admitting students to courses which are conducted by university's teaching departments through own entrance exams. Notification commonly released on March - April of every year. Please visit university's websites.
There are lots of self-financing colleges that offer B.Sc in genetics without entrance exams. The entry requirement is 12th with PCB.

Shifting engineering college after taking admission is next to impossible. You can perhaps think of exiting college and taking part in admission process from beginning.

Hi, you are asking to compare apples and oranges. Both the courses are very different and you academic and career progression will be very different for both the courses. M.Sc in Chemistry is a specialized course, whereas an MBA is a general course. Both the courses have good employment prospects.
