M.Sc is for those who come from a science stream and M.A is for those who are keen to pursue a career in Psychology but hail from a non-science background. The career in geography depends upon your speciality in a particular area such as Economic Geography, Cultural Geography, Political Geography, Tourism Geography,Environmental geography etc.
since you have not mentioned your specialization, i am providing you with the career options after masters in geography, in general.

U may go for phd and jrf clearing ugc-net. If u pursue b.ed then u will get chance to get a job as a teacher in higher secondary schools. You may clear GATE to pursue Mtech in relevant stream. You may also opt for MBA(biotech management / pharma management) to enter the corporate world. All the ways are open. Select according to your interest. All the best.
